#KeepTheStreakAlive is a hashtag being used by Team Canada boxer Wyatt Sanford on social media since his fifth place finish at the 2017 Canadian Championships - Sanford’s first Nationals as an Elite level boxer - after taking a narrow decision loss to 2016 Olympian Arthur Biyarslanov. In the last 8 months, Sanford has accumulated a streak of 12 wins and 0 losses against tough opponents, including an international gold medal at the Haringey Box Cup in England in June 2017.
Taking up the sport at the age of 11, Wyatt fell in love at first punch. After having his first fight only a few months later Wyatt got the ball rolling quickly with winning 3 Canadian Titles as a Junior and a Youth. Now at the tender age of 19 and living in Montreal with the National Team, Sanford is setting the boxing world ablaze with his unorthodox southpaw style and unwavering belief in himself.
